Sommergrüner Gamander

Teucrium chamaedrys ist eine bodendeckende und ausläufertreibender Pflanze mit hellpurpurfarbenen Blüten im Sommer. Das kleine Blatt ist glänzend grün und besitzt an den Blattseiten einige kleine Zähnchen.  

Der Sommergrüne Gamander gehört zur Gruppe der Halbsträucher, so dass die basalen Triebe im Laufe der Jahre verholzen. Der Gamander kann sehr gut in Wildstaudenpflanzungen, sowie in Stein- oder Heidegärten eingesetzt werden.
