Snowberry Arvid
Symphoricarpos Arvid is also known as the Dwarf-Snowberry and is a cultivar from Sweden. The flowers of the Snowberry Arvid are white, with a hint of pink, show up from June and are gladly visited by bees and other insects. The fruits that develop from the flowers are white and have a size of about one centimeter. The leaves of the snowberry Arvid are up to four inches long and about two inches wide. The autumn coloration, which begins in October, turns the blue-gray-green leaf into a green-yellow to yellow foliage.
As the Dwarf-Snowberry Arvid is extremely unpretentious, it thrives in sunny and shady locations as well as on dry and damp soils. Due to its very good frost hardness, the snowberry Arvid is particularly suitable as a good ground cover and is often used as a road companion. In addition, it is very easy to cut and healthy.
